Color Sorting Activity

I would like to introduce the set of picture cards (16 cards) and 2 color-sorting boards. Sort each picture card into the colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, and brown).

This packet was originally designed for learning colors. But I find that it can be used to understand the following concepts:




Attributes: categories (e.g., fruits, vegetables, vehicles), colors, shapes, size, tastes, places...

Two-word phrases: color+category (e.g., a red fruit, a yellow vegetable)
