How has your summer been so far? I hope it is going well.
I guess that many children have tried (or will try) new things during the summer and it is definitely a great time to learn new vocabulary through the experience!
So, I created a Summer Vocabulary Packet!
Labeling
24 picture cards. Use these cards to improve your students’
receptive and expressive vocabulary skills.
(Game) Make two copies of each picture card and play MEMORY.
Have a student name and/or describe the item when he/she make a match.
Things That Go Together
2 association worksheets to help your students learn things that go together.
Category
12 category cards: Have your students name items in a category.
12 sets of word list: Have your students find a word from a set that does not belong with the others.
Antonyms
16 pairs of antonym cards: Place the cards on the table. Have the students find antonym pairs and label them.
Synonyms
12 pairs of synonym cards: Place the cards on the table. Have the students find synonym pairs and label them.
Same and Different
8 same/different worksheets: Use a Venn diagram to help your students to understand similarities and differences between the two items.
Have a wonderful rest of summer!!!
